With over 15 years experience in the marine industry, Trent has worked on boats his whole life. Known in the business as 10 Trade Trent, theres not much he can’t do.

15 years of marine upholstery, 5 years ab diving and 4 years of electrical go with his coxons ticket and 4× 14ft Skiff National Titles along with multiple seasons as a bowman on some of SA’s top racing yachts.

As director of Controlled Innovation, Black Flags parent company, Jack looks after the big picture and is involved in the design of all our electrical jobs. With over 15 years experience as a mechanical electrician designing some of the states biggest electrical jobs he has an eye for simplifying technical problems, perfect for boats!

10 years as a sailmaker before becoming an electrician, Jack has sailed his whole life. Competing in multiple dinghy classes on the international circuit in Fireballs and 470’s.

Our newest Electrical Apprentice, Aaron has spent the last 10 years as a World Cup Downhill race mechanic. Working at the very highest level in sport for one of the biggest teams in the industry Aaron’s attention to detail is perfect for the critical nature of marine electrical.

Aaron is also our fab guy, theres not much he can’t make or design and loves spinning metal on a lathe in his spare time.
